明星参与

　EA终于剥去了《Need for Speed Underground 2》的伪装。著名的电视明星Brooke Burke将在游戏中扮演Rachel，作为玩家的导师，她将指导玩家进行车辆改装。

完整的城市

　据我们所知，该作的开发开始于去年六月，正是《Underground》刚刚发售之时。比起《Underground》总长40公里的赛道设定，《Underground 2》的赛道总长度增加到近200公里，分成5块街区。5块街区之间有道路互通，并且组成了一个完整的城市。看上去，整个城市和交通系统的设定，像是旧金山或是洛杉矶。

专业改装系统

　单人游戏的最终目的，是成为地下飙车族的老大；但为了这个目的，玩家必须学会如何调校赛车。在游戏中，Rachel会提供一系列的帮助，这就构成了游戏的剧情。《Underground 2》比起前作，提供了更多的自由度。游戏中总计大约有150场比赛。除了游戏剧情强制参加的比赛之外，玩家可以自由选择许多附加比赛。赢得附加比赛，玩家就可以得到额外的奖励，比如改装组件和出售特殊组件的商店。所有被发现的商店都会显示在一张小地图上。

　本作对车辆改装提出了更专业的要求。玩家可以自由改动变速箱齿轮比和悬挂系统。而通常新买来的部件只能发挥其一半的效能，想要发掘全部潜力，就得靠玩家的改装才行。玩家甚至可以对部件进行改装。在演示版中，我们就看到了一辆具有大量改装件的马自达RX8。

电话探查敌情

　在《Underground 2》中，电话是一样很重要的东西。在前作中，电话看起来仅仅是一种欢迎参加比赛的仪式，但是本作中，玩家必须通过电话收集信息，接受挑战，参加比赛。所能收集的信息包括对手的准备情况、赛道的情况，以及对手之前的比赛成绩。

　游戏也会通过这个电话系统记录玩家的成绩，以及给出排名。

　游戏中，速度感十足，延续了前作讲究爽快感的特点。而且，也可以采用“Nitrous Meter”这个超级加速系统进行超车……实在有点疯狂。而且飙车的感觉比前作更为震撼。但大体上与前作并没有太大区别。

　EA还没有透露关于多人游戏的更多细节，但承认《Underground 2》可以跨平台进行多人游戏。目前PC、PS2、Xbox都支持这种多人游戏模式，但GC版只支持分屏对战。

画面：流光溢彩

　《Underground 2》的图像非常漂亮，而且我们不得不承认我们的确被震撼了。虽然在技术上比前作并没有提高，但是看上去就是非常舒服。特别是让人感受到城市夜景的魅力。天气条件也会被加入游戏，并且会影响道路条件。

　制作小组显然想让《Underground 2》成为最眩的赛车游戏，但初学者并不会迷失方向。道路上有着猫眼灯指示道路方向，而不会像前作那样让人晕头转向。

　但是声音部分就没有那么令人印象深刻了，还是比较单调，每辆车听起来都差不多。要是有《柯林麦克雷04》的声音效果就好了。

　很明显，《Underground 2》将变成一部畅销作品。制作小组根据玩家的反馈，精心进行了改进。无论是游戏模式、操作、图像都还没有让我们挑剔的地方。只有那些追求真实的玩家也许会有些失望。但是，对于《Need for Speed》的爱好者，还有什么好抱怨的呢？
