说起SCi这家公司可能知道的玩家并不多，不过近日频频见诸报端的Eidos收购案想必让很多关注Eidos以及《古墓丽影》的玩家都开始认识了这家英国公司，毕竟拥有了Eidos绝大部分股票的SCi今后可能就是《古墓丽影》的发行商了。SCi的知名作品不多，最有名的可能就要算是《Conflict》系列了。系列最新作《Conflict: Global Storm》由Pivotal Games公司开发、SCi发行，将于今年10月发售。
《Conflict: Global Storm》讲述的是与新纳粹的对抗，虽然故事是虚构的，多数任务都是根据现实发生过的事件改编的。与前几作一样，在人物方面仍然是以前的反恐四人组成员，本作总共设置了15个关卡任务。在恐怖分子方面的戏份也有所增强。较之前几作，本作在人物打斗的动画场景方面有了质的飞跃。在技术运用层面，我们使用了全新的3D图像引擎和物理引擎。在人物、武器、车辆、环境等方面都有出色的表现。在游戏细节方面还加入了很多的特效，所有这些使本作能够给广大玩家提供一种好莱坞大片的视觉享受。
既然是“Global Storm”，游戏舞台自然不会像之前的“沙漠风暴”一样局限于沙漠地带，本作关卡发生在包括哥伦比亚、韩国、车臣、北非、乌克兰、克什米尔和菲律宾等地，在游戏性方面每个关卡任务都有很大的不同。本作的AI相当强大，当敌人身处险境时会投掷烟雾弹，向敌人射击时，他们会寻找掩体躲避。本作取消克自动瞄准系统，添加了“稍后执行”功能，可以预先设定一个命令，在某个时刻点击某个绑定的按键即可。
